Abbot Hirai Shonin's remarkable journey in overseas missionary work began 30 years ago in Hawaii. His path ultimately brought him full circle, returning to the Nichiren Mission of Hawaii after dedicated service in both the U.K. and the U.S. mainland before assuming his current role at Ankokuronji.
